Tracy Spiridakos

Tracy Spiridakos is a Canadian actor from Canada. She was the Teletoon child's comedy series Majority Rules' Becky Richards. From 2009 until 2010. From 2009-2010, she starred in the role of Charlotte Matheson (Charlie) on the NBC series Revolution in the post-apocalyptic sci-fi show. She was nominated to an Saturn Award as Best Actress on TV. She portrayed Annika Johnson on the A&E drama on television Bates Motel. Spiridakos played Detective Hailey Upton on the television show Bates from A&E. Motel. As Detective Hailey Upton, Spiridakos is the lead character. Spiridakos was the daughter of restaurant owner George Spiridakos and George Spiridakos who both were born in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She has two brothers. After she was born, her family relocated to Skala, Greece, south of Sparta. They returned to Canada in 1992. She is very attached to her Greek family and speaks fluent Greek. Spiridakos began acting when she was in junior high school and then went to the Actors Training Centre of Manitoba. In 2000, she graduated Oak Park High School. Spiridakos moved to Vancouver in 2007 to pursue acting. She found her first television role within a few days, a small part with Supernatural. She continued her television work with walk-on roles on Bionic Woman's The L Word, Hellcats, Psych and other shows. Spiridakos played in the TV film Goblin as well as the web-based series Mortal Kombat: Legacy. She also had a recurring role on Being Human as werewolf Brynn McLean.In 2009, she won her first starring role in the Canadian Teletoon series Majority Rules!, playing 15-year-old Becky Richards. Her debut feature film came in the year 2011 with Rise of the Planet of the Apes. In Kill for Me, she appeared alongside Katie Cassidy and Donal Logue. Spiridakos played Sammi in Rags the movie, a Nickelodeon original film. Spiridakos then was offered the leading role in Revolution as Charlotte Matheson (survivor in an unimaginative future society) and telecast on NBC television. The role was offered to her while attending her first pilot season in Los Angeles. Spiridakos recorded the pilot in Atlanta and the pilot season in Wilmington. The actress was nominated for the Saturn Award for Best Actress on TV for her performance in the initial season but was beaten out by Anna Torv from Fringe's. Production relocated to Austin, Texas for the series' second season.
