Mary-Louise Parker

Mary-Louise Parker (born August 2, 1964) is an American actress. Following her Broadway debut in Craig Lucas's Prelude to a Kiss, in 1990, Parker was nominated for a Tony Award for the role of Rita. In her role as Harper Pitt in the HBO miniseries Angels in America, she was awarded a Golden Globe Award and a Primetime Emmy Award. She was also awarded an award for her performance in the series, a Primetime Emmy Award and a Primetime Emmy Award. In 2006, Parker was nominated for the Primetime Emmy Award in Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series. In 2007, Parker received three nominations for the Primetime Emmy Award in Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series. She also received the Golden Globe Award in 2006 for Best Actress in Red (2010) and R. (2013) as well as Red 2 (2013). Parker was back on Broadway to play the lead role in The Sound Inside in 2019, for which she won her second Tony Award as Best Actress in a Play. Since 2007, Parker has contributed articles to Esquire magazine and released her memoir, Dear Mr. You, in 2015. She was the main character of Roma Guy in the ABC TV miniseries "When We Rise" in 2017. She was a political consultant on the Showtime show Billions in 2018.
