Aaron Jeffery

  Aaron C. Jeffery is an award-winning Logie Award-winning New Zealand and Australian actor. His roles include Terry Watson in Water Rats and Alex Ryan in McLeod's Daughters. He also played the role of Matt "Fletch” Fletcher in Wentworth. Jeffery was born in Auckland's Howick and then moved to Australia when he was seventeen years old. He was a student at NIDA. He earned his NIDA degree in 1993. Then, he launched his TV career by working on the children's program Ship to Shore. Jeffery is best known for his part as Alex Ryan in the drama McLeod's Daughters that he left in 2008. He also appeared in the third season of the New Zealand drama series Outrageous Fortune. Jeffery was part of the series Underbelly: Badness as Frank. Filming ended on the 22nd of June. Three days later it was announced that Jeffery was joining the cast of Neighbours as Bradley Fox for two months. In October, it was revealed that Jeffery was selected as a corrections officer in the series Wentworth. Bevan Lee's Between Two Worlds was also his role. In April of 2021, it was revealed that Jeffery would star in Pieces of Her, a Netflix thriller series that was adapted from the Karin Slaughter book. Jeffery's part in McLeod's Daughters won him the Silver Logie in 2007 and 2004.
